1973 Jaguar XJ6 inexcellent shape inside and out, rust free. 80,000 miles. Owner 25 years, off road 12 years. started 4 years ago when carbs rebuilt. Stainless exauhst
Needs headliner(fallen) and gas tanks cleaned out from sitting.
Owner doesn't want to start because of the old gas. Seems to be trustable.
Do you think the tanks realy need to be cleaned out, or will treatment take care of it?

No that engine was a crappy engine,,plus its sat so long its probably frozen up, people have been putting gm 350 engines in them and they become worth a little more but they are still not a valuable car,,especially a 73,,, id offer him 500 bucks or walk

Figure out the general condition of the care and them to Kelly Blue Book (Google it) to get fair market value. If the owner thinks the gas is questionable then I would go with that.
