My highbeams stay on all the time, even when the truck is turned off, and the key is removed. After talking to a mechanic at a Jeep dealership, he said to remove the daytime running lights module and put it back in. After doing this, it doesnt work, the lights still come on! I don't want to have to keep removing my battery cable when i leave the truck, what can i do!

Did you turn your light switch to off before shutting down the engine. On my Liberty If I turn the ignition off then the lights, the lights have about a two to three minute delay before they shut off.

Did the lights go off when the module was removed?
If they did, then you should replace the module.
