Yes, no problem. Drain it out and fill it with diesel. A tiny amount amount (less than a teaspoon) of gas wont hurt.

So long as it was emptied and allowed to dry out there shouldn't be any problem. Just don't try to use an old diesel tank for gasoline. Diesel isn't a very clean fuel and you can never get all the residue out of it without special equipment.

Yes, just make sure you get all the gas out first! And if the tank has a electric fuel pump to pump gas you will need to replace this pump with one that pumps diesel fuel!

I have done this both ways with no problems.
A little gas (less than 5%) is ok in your diesel or vice versa.
Just drain the tank as good as you can and refill it with the new fuel.

yes it can the gas evaporates really fast so you can re-use it,a lot of people have done this,it can even be cleaned out if necessary,but it should be alright to use it,as long as it doesn't have any rust or debris in it,make sure its clean,good luck.
