help!

i drove home from work (5 minuite drive) and a flashing light came up. the car wasnt running very well. the light was the outline of an engine with check inside the outline. it flashed for about 30 seconds then stayed on. the tempreture gage rose within 1 minuite then i pushed car home cuz i didnt want to do any further damage.

what thye hells wrong? i checked the oil and water, power steering liquid, and they are fine.

What is the difference between a dual carriageway and a single carriageway with 2 lanes in each direction?
I know the speed limit is 70 on dual carriageways but 60 on singles and want to make sure I know the speed limit of a road I drive on which I think is a dual but may be 2 lanes single.

Hey you guys, i hope i will get an answer to my Question, ok here it is: I bought a used 1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL and well on teh rear left tire there is a broken security Lug nut. i cant get it off with the Adapter that came with it. i tried to weld a nut on it but that really didnt work, i even tried to force a socket on to it it had a tight grip but when i tryed to turn it it slipped. I really hope someone can help me with that, because it is a really nice car and i dont want it to go to waste. I would really appreciate any answer. Thanks Jeremie H.

Then it turns into kinda like metal clinkin sound.Sounds like its coming from the back end.Just had converter replaced.Any ideas.Please don't say barrens or nothin like it cause it hasn't been a year since i had it done.

I have a 94 Chevy 1500 and when i start it, it smokes white and smeels like burnt oil, and my dad said it was the valve seals leaking. Ive seen stuff advertised on the SPEED channel that is suppossed to stop leaks. I guess there are a few different types. Does anyoe know if any of that stuff works and where i could find some?

I'm a girl, in grade 8 and I’m doing a science project on snowmobiles (it's just a bit more complex) any ways the guys in my class told me that girls should not be doing a project on snowmobiles but i told them what ever! Anyways, after i asked a person for advice on what kind of snowmobile and there reply, “Arctic Cat“. So I was wondering if anyone out there new a good site (website) on how arctic cats are made, there safety and so on. I wrote on my window with a glass window paint marker thing and i was cleaning my car the other day and i could not get it off! I used windex and like the top layer of the paint barely came off. I was using a credit card to scrape it off but that got tooo tiring and i only semi finished one window. Please help me! I have paw prints on my windows for crying out loud!!

This happened to me today. After it stalled, I waited about 20 minutes to try to turn the ignition key back on and the car started. However, the engine light is still on. I even filled up my radiator fluid to the line because I noticed it was low when I lifted up my hood to check my engine. Other than that, I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. What could it be? Thanks!

I was driving and me and another car stopped at 4way stop intersection both at the same time, I let her go cause i'm nice like that. She turned and was waiting for a traffic light to turn green. I turned behind her but there was not sufficiant room, meaning the back of my car was still sticking out in the intersection. I noticfed she still had a lot of room in front of her, so i beeped at her a little bit to move in so i could unblock the intersection. She looked at me"What would you like me to do?" in a hostel voice. "Your a kid, you'll wait a minute" (1'm 21m)
Instead I squeezed through the other lane and as I Passed her she yelled "asshole"
Did I do anything wrong, what would u have done?
I didn't fight back with her, would you have?
