If I jiggle it in Park, it will start most of the time. I need to step on the gas immediately or it will not start. Also, it seems to be more responsive the faster I turn the ignition. The problem seems to be getting worse and I have to try multiple times. The car won't start in Neutral. How do I know if the problem is with my Safety Switch or with my Starter? If I do need to replace the switch, what would a reasonable price be?

My husband and I bought a truck back in May, and found out that they did not give us what we wanted for our Van in trade in, and they sure distracted us enough to where we missed it on the sales slip. That's our fault I know because we should have paid more attention when signing. But, our whole experience was a mess. We got this truck that has this clear coat on it to where you don't have to wax it for three years. They said, just bring it in and we'll respray it for you every three years. Now we're finding out it's every six months. We also found out that there are related items out in the market that sell for a lot less, and last up to 5 years. We paid $900 for this and thought it was a great deal. We're finding out the hard way that it wasn't. It was a scam. Everything they said to us was either a lie, or a distraction to where it got our minds off track and manipulated us to where we agreed to this. My husband wants to ask them for this part of our money back. Is it possible?

We were on the freeway and he hit 130 mph. I was scared so I ducked and my helmet flew off. I was wearing a tank top and shorts and afraid of falling off. When we exit the freeway, he yells at me for forgetting my helmet at home.

Now he's mad at me because I couldn't risked him getting a ticket. How should I make it up to him?

When I am on a Boeing 747 on a flight from L.A. to Taiwan or on a flight back, it feels like I am walking slightly uphill as I am walking down the aisle towards the front of the plane. And when I see a 747 flying, on a TV show or a movie, it does look like it is angled up slightly when in level flight. Why doesn't it fly completely level?

Many thanks.
C.L.

I have an 06 scion tc that I'm trying to unload because I want a smaller payment. I tried to trade it in for an older car so I could get a smaller payment but I am upside down on the loan for the car and I have bad credit (which is why I'm tryin to make my payments smaller.) Even the dealer told me to just keep the scion and try again in a few years.

Is there really no other options to make my payments smaller?

Hey,
I just got a flush and fill and brand new hoses, there was a ton of old orange gunk dripping everywhere, the hoses were filled with holes---my car was over heating---I was wondering how long it will take for all the new fluid to work through the car. When I was driving home it seemed to get hot again, but not as bad. Thanks

I have a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon. I recently had Pep Boys replace the bank 1 & 2 oxygen sensors......twice, because the check engine light keeps coming on. I took my car back for a 3rd time and now they want to do a $95 diagnostic test and said that they still might not figure out the problem. What the hell!!! I don't have the time or money to keep f-ing around with this car! What else could possibly be wrong with it? Help, please.................

It seems my new beetle breaks down more than it should. I drove a much cheaper Ford Escort before and it never broke down. In the two years I have had it I have given VW dealerships more than3k in repair. It seems the warranty is always "not going to cover this" or has run out. Do you have problems with your new beetle too? Or do I just have bad luck?

I have a 2000 cavalier and the engine light lit up.I don't know what is wrong with it.It had a tune up like a month ago.I think it might be something wrong with the engine or has something to do with fuel. When I go at speeds like 15 to 45 it would stumble and act like it don't wanna go.

I got Accord 97 Special Edition, changed Tharmostat and Rad switch 3/4 months back as I had over heating issues in engine because fan was not kicking in,since then working fine and fan kicked in proper time, just day before yesterday I drove 45 minutes straight in highway and stopped in a gas station and noticed my temp gauge is slightly up almost touching mid point, outside temp was 12 Degree Celcius(54 F) ,I turned off engine, fill up my tank,re-started,then it went down, later on I keep my engine on, and noticed fan kicked in and temp gauge was between 1/2 and 1/4 which is normal, checked coolant,it was ok.Later on didn't get any chance to drive for longer period of time,as my office is only 15 minutes drive from home.Do I need to concern abt this issue?

I was planning on going to N.A.R.S. and working for bnsf because its pretty close to where I live (both the college and the kc rail yard) I was wondering how much I would make a year. I was hoping to get on the long routes since I dont have a life now it wouldnt matter how long I was gone. Mabey home 6 to 7 days a month (not in a row) would be fine with me. Do you what that would pay yearly? Also how long do you think I would have to work as a train conductor before I become an engineer?

I've seen some very good comments on this problem but tire pressures are totally ignored. On hot summer days, for example, recommended pressures of 35 lbs for all tires should be more like 40 lbs. The recommended pressures on your driver's side door frame are only the minimum you need for safe operation but they don't say that for legal reasons. So if you run with badly underinflated tires, and experience a rollover, it's your own fault. Women are especially slack in regard to checking their tire pressures.
