Hey,
I just got a flush and fill and brand new hoses, there was a ton of old orange gunk dripping everywhere, the hoses were filled with holes---my car was over heating---I was wondering how long it will take for all the new fluid to work through the car. When I was driving home it seemed to get hot again, but not as bad. Thanks

The new coolant should run through you entire engine once the car reaches normal operating temperature

Another rip off. Flush and fill is a money maker for the dealers and shops. As you have just learned, the hard way, you galned nothing. The engine still runs hot. When you have a radiator problem, such as overheating, go to a RADIATOR SHOP. They can fix your problem without this phony flush and fill. I would advise you do it now. Thermostats rarely cause overheating. If a thermostat is sticking closed the engine will get hot and the radiator will be cool. If a thermostst sticks open the cooling syatem will be below normal temp. Water pumps fail by leaking. Flush and fill stirs up the sediment in the system and allows it to enter the radiator coolant passages and plug them even worse. Go to a RADIATOR SHOP with radiator problems. This includes any overheating problem. They will diagnose your problem usually at no charge.

you ought to have 2 leaks right here. Bluto is solid. Valve covers purely shop oil from leaking out engine. Disappearing coolant is led to by using different issues, like leaking water pump, undesirable hose clamp or undesirable hose, or leaking internally by using a nasty gasket. force Explorer over any oil replace pit. this is much less confusing to perceive leaks under the vehicle. attempt means WASHING the engine first to make issues much less confusing. Vlave conceal leaks can oftentimes be stopped by using tightening the bolts there. solid luck!!
