I have a Chevy 350 in a vehicle that I recently purchased, I know that it needs carburetor work, but before I rebuild the carburetor, I want to find out if it even has the right size of carburetor. What's the best/easiest way to determine the right carburetor for the engine?

Since many cities encompass several square miles, how are distances between cities calculated--city limit to city limit as the crow flies or some other common reference point?

Long story short, I just bought a 2007 Camry. Now, my question is, should I be getting the rust proof and paint sealant for my car since I live in a state that has winters? I am not sure if it is worth it or not... Just wondering what most people think and if most people got it for their brand new cars as well. Everything, rust proof and paint sealant is around 600, not including tax at Toyota.

I own a 2005 Chevy Equinox and recently, a gas attendant broke the gas cap while trying to close it. It took about a week before I could get a new one to replace it and in the mean time, the check engine light came on due to a lack of vacuum pressure. The Light has been on for 1 week now and I know that eventually, it will reset itself but I would rather not wait. Does anyone know a quick way to reset the light that doesn't involve going to the dealer?

Unfortunately the boating season has come to an end and I need to get my boat winterized. I'll probably just take it into the shop, but I was wondering what processes need to be done to winterize a boat.

Is it simply opening drain plugs, or is there more to it than that?

I have (what I think is) a 1968 Honda Dream motorcycle,
but some recent photos I've seen, make me re-think
what I've got. They are both 305cc.thought
the only difference is the muffler, as far as I can tell.
any thoughts will be appreciated.

The car insurance on one of my cars runs out in a few days, and the insurance for the second car runs out at the end of this month. I was thinking of holding off on getting insurance for car #1 and start a policy for two cars at the same time. Of course, I don't intend to drive car #1 while it's not insured, it will just sit in my driveway.
I heard that in some states, they will charge you for each day that your car is without insurance, even if you don't drive it.
Is that the case for California?

Let's say hypothetically, we all weren't able to use our cars for a week in order to reduce pollution and congestion on the roads, but were able to use public transit systems, bike, or walk. How would this effect you and your daily routine? Would you still be able to go about your week normally?

I have a wholesale auto license and I am looking for ways to sell to the public retail without having to get a retail license or anything like that. I know it's next to impossible so I would appreciate if instead of focusing on the negative you guys would help me with some positive alternatives so that I can find some type of solution. I know people that do it but they have many different ways I think the best way I found is partnering up with a dealership which I might do but I would like to hear some of your suggestions/ideas? Thank You Very Much your responses ARE appreciated.

My husband found a 1989 Chevrolet standard shift, V-6, with a plow. The gentleman is asking 2345.00 after taxes, registration, and the like. Now the kicker. - It has 148,000 miles, I cannot drive it (don't know how to drive standard), can't get the kids in (standard cab), has extensive body rot on not only truck but on plow itself. I told him that I investigated it on Bluebook.com and found it to be worth a max of 1600 if it was in excellent condition. He says I'm fooling myself. But the guy has us over a barrel because we need him more than he needs us. We have to have our driveway plowed as it is over 1,000 feet long and each and every time you hire someone it is $50 and that is for one shot/one line down the middle no neatness and no widening. Should we just give in or spend unknown money on an unknown winter season.
