Long story short, I just bought a 2007 Camry. Now, my question is, should I be getting the rust proof and paint sealant for my car since I live in a state that has winters? I am not sure if it is worth it or not... Just wondering what most people think and if most people got it for their brand new cars as well. Everything, rust proof and paint sealant is around 600, not including tax at Toyota.

Never pay for these add ons. It's pure profit for the dealer and nothing you have to have.

Your 2007 Camry has a 5 year unlimited mileage corrosion warranty that will protect your car against rust. And as long as you keep the car properly washed and waxed, you never have to worry about the clearcoat on the car. Paint sealant is a complete rip off.

Don't pay for something that comes free with the car. Don't let the salesman talk you into this unless he's willing to provide the service free of charge. And if it's already added on to the price of the car, make them take off the charges before you sign the contract.
