I have a wholesale auto license and I am looking for ways to sell to the public retail without having to get a retail license or anything like that. I know it's next to impossible so I would appreciate if instead of focusing on the negative you guys would help me with some positive alternatives so that I can find some type of solution. I know people that do it but they have many different ways I think the best way I found is partnering up with a dealership which I might do but I would like to hear some of your suggestions/ideas? Thank You Very Much your responses ARE appreciated.

You could partner up with a salesman that has his dealers license. You would have to give him a cut on every car that you sold to a private party.

What is the possibility of you getting a retail dealer license?

I believe that you can sell up to 5 cars a year without a license. So instead of your company buying the car, why not buy it yourself and then resell it to a private party?

If you know of other people in the business, contact them and ask how they do it.

good luck.

you would be in violation of your community zoning regulations by using merchandising autos from a residential handle. in fact, you does not additionally be issued a corporation license (required, besides to a broker's license). it must be achievable to do what you prefer to do out in some distant rural unincorporated area -- yet then how might clientele locate you?
