Ok heres what i have done.
I have removed the drive replaced the gimble bearing and all the bellows and the boots and the water line, drive oil line and had the shift cable adjusted.
It all back together last nite and ran it on water muffs in my drive way.
shifts perfect however when i shifted it in foward and ran it up to 1500 rpm's it was vibrating some and it vibrated somewhat when it was in netural also.
I just dont know if its right i dont have time to take it to the lake till next week however i dont want to break something.
By the way this was the hardest repair i have ever done to anything.
Any help would be aprecitated

Hello. I recently asked this question:

"Hi. I own a 1997 Mercury Mountaineer, and the turn signals and the hazards stopped working yesterday. I took the truck back out later in the day and they worked again. Now today, they've stopped working again. Why would this happen?"

And with the answers I got, we pretty much narrowed the problem down to a bad flasher.

I bought a new flasher today from an auto parts store and went to install it. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find where the old one is. I've looked in the fuse box and it's not in there. The manual doesn't tell me either, and I can't seem to find any information on the internet.

Thanks in advance, I appreciate the help.

One year ago I received a 150cc, two seater go kart that has forward and reverse as a gift. There is NO TRANSMISSON on this go kart. Now whenever I accelerate or go uphill the engine misses or skips and acceleration is slower then when it was brand new. The oil was just changed and I suspect that it may be because the chain is too loose. The go kart has never been in an accident and has anywhere from 15 to 20 hours on it. Whoever knows something please help I would hate to find out that something is seriously wrong with the engine after all it is only one year old.

my engine light just started coming on and after I shut the engine off and restart the car, no engine light! What can this be? A few weeks ago I had a new upper radiator hose replaced and lost some of the antifreeze and didn't add more to replenish...could therre be a connection?

I travel from the Western Chicago suburbs to metro-Detroit about twice a month, and it takes about 4 1/2 hours, but I can sit in stop-and-go traffic at that border for an hour. There isn't even any construction there! Does anyone know why these people can't just merge onto the freeway? I usually don't drive during rush hour. Most of my problems happen on the way back through Indiana to Chicagoland. At 6 o'clock on a Sunday, the freeway is jammed. I would really appreciate if anyone could suggest an alternate route so that I can stop tearing out my hair. Thanks!

I parked my car under a tree shade but I found some goo dripping from the tree on my car. It's hard to come off. I already bought an expensive bottle spray from the store but it didn't help much.

I have noticed resale values for Infiniti are substantially lower than they are for Lexus, but other than popularity (Lexus is quite a bit more popular) is there any reason for the difference?

Reliability? Performance? Anything other than popularity?

I'm planing on buying a pulley for my 06 grand prix supercharger, on the web site it says "This additional heat may cause detonation which in turn will cause knock retard, robbing you of horsepower. If you are not doing something to prevent the detonation caused by a higher temperature intake charge, we recommend you stick with the 3.4" pulley" . what does it mean.

The only idea i had was right infront of the air filer on the left side close to the front, behind the headlight. Not sure if this space is high enough. Thanks in advance.

I had the error codes checked out and it turns out that the person who I bought the truck from and lowered it removed a non-important sensor. How can you stop the engine light from coming on?

I have an '05 Xterra my husband and I purchased new when we were married. One month after purchase we split and I have been making the large payments on one income, which has been tough. I have about $5,000 in negative equity, which has made it difficult to trade to a cheaper vehicle. Does anyone have any suggestions? The bank wont refinance with just my income.

I recently moved. I drive my Pontiac Pursuit to work, and it gets decent mileage. It takes about the same time for me to get to work as at my old commute. So I was shocked today to find out the distance is about 15% shorter. I figure the extra time is due to more stops and starts, more traffic lights, more traffic and slower speed limits.

With the same drive time but 15% less distance what theories or estimated changes do you expect in my fuel expenses. (example: Will they drop 15%, 10%, 5%, same or increase? If gas prices stay constant)
