I had the error codes checked out and it turns out that the person who I bought the truck from and lowered it removed a non-important sensor. How can you stop the engine light from coming on?

I don’t believe it’s possible for all sensors are controlled by the computer. The computer is reasonable for monitoring all the sensors when a senor sends a to low or to high of voltage the computer lights up the service engine soon light to let the drive know that something is wrong. Without modifying the computer (which I’m not sure it can be done) the only thing that comes to mind would be to replace and hook the senor back up.

Remove one of the battery cables from the battery, then reinstall it. That should make the light go out , at least until the computer resets the code. To make the light stay off permanently, you'll probably have to replace the sensor. Good luck.
