Can somebody please explain to me, what is Throttle body spacer? is really worth it to get one? What is the advantage and disadvantage having one?

Im new into this kinda mods.

generally all it does is add plenum volume for possible horepower gains in the upper rpm range..but unless you map the fuel system to match the change in airfow you may be dissapointed by the bolt-on..

That is a spacer placed underneath the throttle body that will help with the fuel delivery. It is supposed to increase torque the same way a tunnel ram manifold works. Only to a lesser degree. I can't see any disadvantaes to adding one other than the cost.

if its cheap enough get it.

the longer the distance in the intake the more torque you can make... a 1 inch spacer wont do much but its not just a gimick. the ones with the groves cut in them to swirl air around seem logical, but im just guessing on that part, and i wouldnt spend extra on one with it.
