You can use gas on a cloth to remove it, but be careful it is highly flammable. This will also remove any wax on your paint ,so wash the finish after you remove the goo and then wax the spot.

use a little bit of lacquer thinner on a cotton cloth rub lightly it should lift it off,only recommend if the car has a factory paint job

use Lot's of hot water with soap and a sponge it should remove the sap from trees good luck.
