I recently reported a hit and run to my insurance to have my vehicle fixed. My vehicle was parked on the street in front of my home and it was struck somewhere in the middle of the night. The other party fled the scene. I was now charged for a deductible. Is this something insurances can do?

brands that provide decent protection would be perfect. How well will this equipment protect a rider in case of a crash or accident? So far I am considering boots, a helmet, pants and a jacket, but I don't know whether to go with or get something that is more like armor. Thank you very much for looking.

I am planning to purchase a 1992 Suzuki GSX-R 600, the guy that is selling it said the electric starter does not work.

What is the difference between a kick start and electric start?

How much does a replacement usually cost?

Is installation difficult and expensive?

Is this a big problem?

I would appreciate advice and good info.

Okay I asked this ? yesterday but didn't get a good enough answer. I need to know if my transmission is slipping or does it sound like I need to change my tranny's filter. When I pull of my car is not kicking into 1st gear until I get up to about 35-40mph. Kicks into other gears fine. Sometime it does it in 2nd gear also. It revs up loud until it kicks into gear. Car has 220, 000 miles on it. What do you think? Need help because I might trade it off or get the filter changed. But I need some expert opinions.

On the past few Carnival cruises I've taken I've noticed that when we're in port on the bow of the ship there is a red flag flying with a blue circle in the center surrounded by a white circle. Am I correctly assuming this means the ship is "docked in port"?

I purchased a used 2000 Plymoth Neon "As Is". On the driver side steering wheel and the passenger side dash indicate that my car has air bags. Later someone noticed that the sensor that runs the air bags was not there and the wire connector for it is masked with black tape. After this I had the steering wheel checked to see if there was an air bag and after removing cover discovered it had already been deployed. Is the LEGAL? I don't see how someone can sell a car leading another to bleieve there is a life saving device such as the air bag incase of a strong frontal impact when this is not true. A dealer may not say that an air bag is included, but the printing of the letters on the steering wheel and passenger side dash indicate that the bags are there. DO I HAVE ANY RIGHTS? I was misled about. Can I go back to dealer and either get the air bags replaced or a different car of similar value? Where can I find other info on rihgts of those who buy from used car dealers

I have a primo terminator 150cc scooter, its an off brand from who knows where. It hase a single cylinder 4stroke engine and i replaced the piston head in it but i didnt look to see if there was any timing marks on the cam and chain so i dont want to put it together till i know. Any info and help would be greatly appreciated if you know if there is timing involved in a single cylinder.

Always keep a roll of two of electrical insulation tapes in your car. When you have a burst radiator hose while on a journey, you can use the insulation tape to wrap round the hose tightly. This should be able to allow you to reach the nearest help. You will be amazed how strong these tapes are. Always have a plastic gallon container in your car boot filled with water for replenishing your radiator and also for washing during 'emergency' cases.

Right, help needed. My car tax runs out on 31 July this year, my MOT certificate is valid until the 2 August this year. I can't get my car in for it's service and MOT until the 2nd August as the garage is booked up until then. Can I still tax my car for a year using this MOT certificate as don't want to be driving around for 2 days with no tax? I need use of my car on the 1st August but don't want to take the risk of having no tax even for 1 day. Looked on the DVLA website but can't find anything that says the length of time an MOT certificate needs to be valid for getting a new tax disc! Help?
