I was thinking of buying a used (20 year old) motorcycle in CO. Of course its cheap and it runs well and is in pretty good shape. How hard, or easy is it to get a title for one that's been lost. I've seen people say its easy, but is it reallY or is it a lot of hassle?

I bought a car from a Houston Car dealer, the next day I took it to my mechanic because it had problems. Turns out it has MANY problems. I understand in TX we have 72 hours to back out of a deal like this. So, I took this car back to the dealer. After negotiation with the Manager they said they would take back the car but only if THEY keep the downpayment and only if I buy another one of their vehicles. Is this legal?

I found out about it when I went to get a replacement certificate from the driving school. They said the chief driving instructor is selling ones of the schools cars. They were really nice and talkative and gave a good impression. It is e-tested and safety certifified already so I wouldn't have to worry about that and pay money to get those things done or fix anything. But I told the woman that it has high milage and she said they keep strict maintance standards for school cars and assured me that they will last years to come with no problems at all, despite the high milage. She said it could last up to 500 000- a million kilometers maybe. This is in Ontario. So yeah... please tell me if this is the car for me. If its worth buying for that price. Or if it will be too risky. I ain't got much money, am trying to buy my first car, and like going on loooooong trips. I told them that too and they were very positive about it. I'll probably see it sometime this week and make a decision. Tha

My steering wheel recently started shaking left and right and also causing my front panel to vibrate. I recently had a brake job done so I don't think it is caused by the brakes. The shaking/vibration occurs with or without braking. The guys at Brake Check also said my suspension looks fine. So I'm inclined to suspect something with the tires? Rebalance? New tires?

I've had someone pour sugar in to my tank, they were smart enough to leave a trail of sugar from the gas tank so i knew something was up...

But I'd like to know whats the worst thing you can put in a gas tank, to basically.. destroy a car. Whether it be foreign liquid like water or syrup, or some powder or sugar, whats worse for a cars engine?

Toyota has scheduled building a black crew max limited with the 5.7L engine that I want. I made a $500 deposit with a dealership so I can buy it as soon as Toyota delivers it to them. Toyota hasn't even built it yet, so I have lots of time to cancel my order and get a refund.

I just heard of this camshaft problem today and it turns me off of buying it in the first place. So far 20 camshafts have been broken on the new tundras and Toyota is still investigating. They have said that they will replace the entire engine if it happens while the vehicle is under warranty.

What do you think, shouldn't I just cancel my pursuit of this cool-looking truck...lol.

I have a 2001 Honda Accord V6 lx, that has lately been putting out a sulfur smell from the drivers side center under the B pillar. I see mixed results from searches saying that its probably exhaust but I have never seen this before on any other car I've ever owned. It doesnt happen all the time but it is nausiating and overpowering. Is this because of the change of gas for the summer formulation? Is there anything else it might be? Thanks.

I did an oil change on my Aunt's van yesterday. When I refilled the oil, I put in about 5 quarts of oil. When I poured the old oil back in the container, it was only about 4 quarts. Now when I check the oil dipstick, it reads above the full mark. Can I drain some of the oil from the engine by loostening the drain plug, or do I have to drain the whole thing and then refill it again?
