You can freely drain a bit of oil out if you don't mind to get very dirty. Just take care that if you drain out too much oil, you don't pour the same oil back in on the top. (Reason: the oil in sump contains all the dirt that assembled there and hasn't been cleaned yet. When you pour in in the engine, you do it immediately on the valve mechanism...)
If you mind getting dirty, then you find out a petrol station or something similar, where they have a special pump to suck out the oil from the engine.
They use it when you pay for the replacement of the oil only, not also the oil filter, so they don't have the need to raise the car on the car jack, but do everything from the above - suck the oil out and pur the new one in.
And of course they can suck only 1 quart, not everything.

Remember that the oil filter also takes up some oil. Always start the car and let it idle for a minute or so. Give the oil a chance to drain back to the sump and then check your dipstick. If the sump is too full, remove the dipstick and stick a thin plastic tube down the dipstick hole and siphon some oil out. Siphon a bit more out than is necessary because you can also add some of the siphoned oil, provided the container into which you siphoned is very clean. Done this on my Renault Scenic 1, it works.

Did you change the filter when you changed the oil? If not, then change the filter. You will lose about a quart of oil when you do this. That may be the reason that you have overfilled the oil.
If you have already changed the filter, then yes you can drain a little out of the pan with the drain plug. If it is only a little above the full mark, then don't worry about it, you'll be fine.

It should be fine with a little extra oil did you start the car after you changed the oil so that oil could get into the new filter? Most likely there was only four quarts because the car is using a little oil just keep an eye on it

you can loosen it and allow some to drain but do it in small amounts because you dont want to let too much out. The best way to do it is to let some out then tighten it up and then check the oil and if it is still over then do this again until the oil is at the correct level.

You may loosen the drain plug and drain the desired level of oil out. You need not drain the whole engine.

You don't have to drain it all, you can just loosen the plug and let it drain lightly for a bit, then tighten it back and check it again.
