I had not driven my car in awhile and didnt have insurance on it, so they took the registration and tags away for 3 months, but i want to trade it in before then, is that possible? Will a dealer take it as a trade in if the registation is suspened??? I live in Pennsylvania. if that helps. Thanks for all educated answers.

Typically as long as you have the "pink slip" indicating you are the owner, most places will allow you to trade it in. They may charge you a minor fee for DMV paperwork.

If you own it, you can sell it. Sell it yourself, not to a dealer--you will get a better price.
