I've had someone pour sugar in to my tank, they were smart enough to leave a trail of sugar from the gas tank so i knew something was up...

But I'd like to know whats the worst thing you can put in a gas tank, to basically.. destroy a car. Whether it be foreign liquid like water or syrup, or some powder or sugar, whats worse for a cars engine?

The worst thing by far is sugar, reason is that when it hits the gas line it turns into something like jelly, if it hits your engine thats it your in trouble. The only way to clean it out is to have your complete engine striped down , your fuel system and gas tank removed and flushed out if possible or at worst replaced.

Marbles is a fun one to drive people insane. It will also periodically cause the car to stall when one of the marbles is sucked up by the fuel pump.

I wonder what would happen if you put a ton of Mentos and Diet Coke in....

Anyone feeling adventurous that would like to give us the outcome of that?
