It all depends on how much you abuse it. You should get years and years of service out of it, as long as you don't abuse it. Just like anything else in life.
If you abuse it, you lose it.
There are also many of them on the road, so if you need a part, you are more likely to find it at a salvage yard, or even at the dealer. Go for it.
