does anyone know the mpg of the latest gt 40's? or a website that tells me more about the car?

I have a ford taurus '95. I was trying to put the rear break pad on but could figure it out. This is what I did. First, I put the emergency brakes on took the tire off and took the housing off. I then try to use a C-clamp to push the sponge like thing back to the housing so I can have the extra room for the new shoe pads to fit, but it would not move at all. I try do it while opening the break line to bleed them and that didn't work. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong.

Mechanic tells me it is making noise but still working somewhat. $700 repair. Is total failure inevitable, or might it last a long time anyway?

A collegue where I work has recently lost her child in a crash. The child undid the buckle on her car seat, and her mother, who I work with turned to put her hand on her to sit back, and took her eyes off the road for a second or two, and when she turned around, she saw that the traffic had come to a stop and slammed into a car, and her child was ejected through the windscreen and died. How can I help her recover from this tragedy. She blames herself for this. I appreciate any help I can get

I just bought a 2000 S-10 Blazer. The radiator has been flushed, it's not overheating and there's no leaking inside the cab. The a/c blows very cold but there is constant fog coming through the vents. And when I turn the thermostat to a warmer setting, it blows more smoke. It almost smells like antifreeze but not exactly. Just smells really foul. I sprayed some Ozium (concentrated odor remover) into the vents and also mixed up a bleach/water mixture and sprayed it into the vents outside the vehicle. It covered up the smell temporarily but that's it. Could it be the heater core? Or could it have something to do with the moisture meeting the cold air and not vaporizing? I really hate the idea of putting more money into it after just buying it, but I don't want to walk around stinking all the time either. Any ideas?

I went to purchase a car from Alan Vester in Henderson, NC a week ago. I was told that if I traded in my Grand Cherokee for a 2007 Suzuki Forenza Hatchback that I would no longer have as much negative equity. I was about 5000 dollars in the hole. After having trouble believing the, they brought out 2 sales people and the finance guy to convince me. I told them I would sign the document only if I can trade it on 6 month. They said it would give me a chance to build my credit and purchase what I want later and would not have any problem . Based on that information, I agreed to trade my car in. I gave them 2000 dollars down , only later to find out that I am about 10,000 dollars in the hold. My roommate witness the whole transaction and now I am stuck with a car I absolutely hate. Can I sue them for lying and misleading me to believe one thing when it is not the case.

AFTER 8 HOURS OVER TWO DAYS IN THEIR SMARMY OFFICES I bought a car on finance, all signed up( Vision in Rainham,Essex ) Two weeks after having the car, all its documents etc transfered to me as the registered owner, the dealers called and said they'd got me a better deal and could I come and sign the forms. I said no, as its miles away and I'm not fussed about saving a tenner a month. Then they continued calling saying they'd make it worth my while if I came, then they called and said they'd come and take the car away!!!
Legally, as I am the registered owner, what can they do? I realise that there is something shifty about this so don't want to sign another finance deal and I know legally they cannot take the car back as I am the legal registered owner. I am happy to pay for the car, but am not prepared to sign any thing else, whats the best course of action to take, I am now diverting their calls which are quite nasty, until I've spoken to a solicitor, just thought I'd seek advice..

He just got his learners permit has never rode a motorcycle ever and is about to go and purchase a motorcycle from a clot. He assumes hes going to drive it home from the shop since he has his permit now. I told him I would find somebody with a motorcycle to let him ride it for a min to get the feel for it before he takes it out on the road. But he feels hell be fine he lives in louisville and is going to be on highway and heavy traffic areas. Does this sound like a good idea he said something about an 18 hour course but just scoffed at the idea. He feels hes super man i guess. What do you think? He also kows nothing about bikes and said hes going to trust the dealer that its a good bike not even planning on test driving it or bringing anybody who knows anything about bikes.Stupid or what?

I own a 95 mustang v-6. The other day i was driving towards a major intersection to make a left hand turn. It was a green arrow so I only slowed down but didnt stop at all. After i made the turn and started to turn the wheel straight my car spun out of control violently (like race car movie style). It was really bad and scared the hell out of me. As far as i know the road conditions were fine. Why would my car do this? Is it because it is a mustang? This has never happened to me before and I wasn't distracted or anything like that. What could be the problem?

First of all, I have insurance which I could place a claim on. What has happened is someone backed up into my new 07 Honda Accord and didnt leave a note. Now the back bumper and trunk have damage (Cracks and trunk wont open with the keyless remote). I wonder what would happen if I turn the lease in with damage at the end of two years? Should I just go ahead and place a claim on my insurance and take the chance of insurance rates going up? I want to go the cheapest way out and im sure paying out of pocket is too much if you know Honda prices. Unfortunately, there are people that have no regard for being responsible for their actions! Now, it seems i have to pay the price. Any ideas.?

When I run regular unleaded, I don't know if it's just me or what--but it seems like the car can chug a little bit. But when I put the premium fuel in it, it runs like a champ. Is there a certain fuel that works better for a Mustang? Specifics would be MUCH appreciated in regard to why.

Lately I have been scolded for putting my car in park while its still moving because people say I can damage my car by doing this. Obviously I'm not doing it on purpose, I'm just in a hurry to jump out of my car to go get something real quick and I don't really push down on the brakes hard enough to get it to a complete stop, and then place it in park as my car is still slightly moving. Putting it in park causes it to jerk around a bit and make some noise so that worries me. Should I be worried that I've done some damage?
