I know most of us that go racing dirt bikes are members and the magazine has a bunch of road-relevant stuff. Just wondering are you or aren't you members. When you see the AMA sticker on my car do you feel better that I'm being careful around you guys ?

Yesterday I accidentally put the wrong kind of motor oil in my car. I also didnt realize that I put WAY TOO MUCH into it as well. I was driving for about 2 minutes and it began to smoke. We drained the oil and put the right kind and amount into it. On my way home it was smoking a little bit. Is that just from the left over oil or from it being too full? Its running fine now I am just worried about the occasional puff of smoke.

I was just involved in a hit and run. I was merging into the Holland Tunnel, and a Van drove up on the side of my car, ripped my drivers side mirror off, scratched my car horriably, and just kept on driving!! This was not my fault, as I was in the lane first, he merged into my lane, over the solid line!! I have not done anything yet along the lines of reporting this, as I just got home from work. When we got out of the tunnel, they pulled over and flagged me down. The roads were very busy, and we didnt call the police. They said to me "are you high? You look like you are high". I just got out of working a 14 hour shift, so I look weathered. How dare they say that to me!! Now, I live in NJ, and have Geico Insurance, $500 deductiable, full coverage. I have the color of the van, and the license plate #. What should I do. I dont know if its worth it to report it to my insurance co. but I dont want to report it if its going to go to my insurance co. What should I do?

I recently had a deer hit my car and am going to have to pay a $500 deductible. My grandpa told my parents that when he hit a deer, New York State paid for all repairs including the deductible because deer are considered to be property of the state. His body shop took care of all the details. Does anyone know is this is still true or who I can contact to find out more information?
