The jerking could be caused by a throttle position sensor (especially if it only happens at a particular speed) and the speedometer jumps because it has a bad "speedometer clutch".

There is a kink in the speedometer cable most likely. Replacing the cable will usually take care of the problem.

sounds like either your tranny is going out or you need a tuneup.
