I have a '99 land rover discovery. I just discovered what those 3 buttons (homelink) were. i would love to program this to my garage door. but when i bought the car, i never got a hand-held transmitter that is needed to program it. does anyone have any advice?

The instructions should be in the rovers owners manual. I can't remember the exact sequence, but it was something like hold the button you want to program and the light will start flashing, and then hold your garage transmitter close to it and push the button on it and hold till the home link stops flashing, and then it is programmed.
