received quad with valve cover off and claims that the guy couldn't get it timed. Personally the people working on this machine didn't have a clue. I am looking for any specs, manuels or advice. Thank You

I heard there are no longer train conductors cause there are not cabouses? Is this true?

If someone wanted to be a train conductor what course of study? What are the major rail companies that would be hiring?

It will be on my 1989 ford mustang convertible, 5 speed. I am just wanting it painted red again. It is red right now also but was in a very minor hit and run (I wasn't in the car when it happened) and has a scratch on it.

I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra and today my car began to shake quite a bit while I was idling. Also, I felt like I had lost a noticable amount of power while driving, but I'm not sure if this is just percieved or definite. Anyways, my initial reaction was that I lost a cylinder and this was unbalancing my engine, possibly through a broken injector? Does anyone have thoughts on what else this could be or if possibly I'm right? Or maybe also how to test my car myself? Thanks in advance.

Ok, I'm having problems with my headlights on my 97 Dodge Ram, When I pull the lever out, only the parking lights go on, but when I put on the brights, they work fine.... Can someone please tell me the problem?

i got some different speakers for my car, my head deck is 50x4 and i got speakers that are 50 rms which was more than i needed, when i tried my new ones it doesnt seem to be a whole lot louder than the old speakers but it is louder, and i do get more bass but it gets distorted when louder. i tried to play with the cd deck settings and when it gets tuned for one song its bad for another and sometimes then the setting dont help as much, i have to turn the radio to max just so its somwhat loud, i think it may be that i used 16 gauge wire to go from the deck to the speakers, im not sure but what would hte problem be?

iam a new learner of gear bikes.i use to learn with tvs centra.
i need to knw these things--
first kick start the bike & by holding the clutch set the first gear .by slowly releasing the clutch , the bike tends to move slow .by the time give accelerator & the bike runs . after then slowly hold down the clutch & change the gear to 2 .
1, when we drive a bike in gears , how to put brakes & then after stopping by brakes how to move then?

2, i heard that all bikes are similar to drive only pulsar & honda unicorn is different frm others?is it so . except these two all bikes need to be driven by the above ways know ? let me clear.

pls bike drivers & enthusiast to clear me.

The right edge of the tire is rubbing against the inside of the fender (or something inside there), especially when I carry a light passenger. I have adjusted shocks to the stiffest setting (5). Still rubs. Possibly the tire size is wrong?

for instance if you were to get an evo up to 600 hp would you lose a percentage of that since you have to push all that power through all the drivetrain that comes with 4wd cars. Or would it not lose any power and be more efficient then fwd or rwd cars.

I need a crappy car for a project.(under $400) not titled/ not registered w/ dmv because I will not be using it on roads. I would prefer one that runs or would run with only a few hours of work.(Id rather not rebuild the whole engine) If anyone could suggest where to look OR has one to sell me, that would be great. I bought the car from a dealership 3 months ago. When I asked about the service I was told that it had been completely serviced before they sold it to me. I took it to get an oil change today where I learned that it had about 3 quarts of oil (4.5 filled it), an oil leak and that the oil filter had not been changed in almost a year. I also have pretty good evidence that the last oil change was probably in september of 2006. So, not only was I lied to (Typical car sales people), but there's no telling how long this has been the case, or what damage has been done while I drove thinking everything was fine. My first reaction is to be mad since I am paying my hard earned money for this thing. I want to return the car since I don't know what shape it is really in. But I highly doubt that they would just let me out of the loan without a fight (Lawyer). So, how should I approach this when I go in to confront them about it? And what should I ask for? Thanks

I tried auto zone but there's only checks engine codes. Basicly I am looking for some way of getting the codes with out paying someone hate to bring it in and they give a line of spew and tell me it needs everything but the kitchen sink.

I have a 96' Nissan Maxima GXE, around 120,000 miles. I was informed during a recent lube change that my car had some fluid leaking. So I took my car in to the dealer and they found many things that need to be fixed. replacing CV boots $400, replacing cracked timing belt $1500:replacing cracked radiator $800, replacing powering steering hoses, $800. The initial quote is well over $3500. I could potentially buy another car with that money. and I don't have that kind of money

I need some advice on what are items that absolutely need to fixed and what can be fixed later and if the quoted prices are reasonable.

Really appreciate anyone that could help out.
