Before choosing, you can see how many formal complaints have been filed against a particular vehicle by searching the NHSTA-odi site.
That's the National Highway Safety Transportation Administration-Office of Defects investigations.
This is where people file complaints AFTER they have bought. That way you can see the complaints BEFORE you decide what to buy!
I'll link the vehicles for you b'cuz the site is not the easiest to navigate, but I'm used to it.
Definatly not the 2007 Camry! WAY too many complaints! 171 as of 2 days ago. 174 today! This list grows daily!

2007 Honda Accord- Fewer complaints, only 11 & one complaint is not by an owner, just someone complaining in general.

BUT Honda just fought & LOST a class action suit regarding faulty reading odometers, they tick off more miles than are actually occuring, resulting in warranties expiring before thay should....not to mention ...people are 'duped' intoTHINKING that they are getting better gas mileage than they really get!
(Nissan is also in the same type of class action suit)

You might want to rethink your choices, may I suggest a Ford Fusion or Mercury Milan?
Both MUCH better cars for the money (not to mention the availability of all wheel drive) & in the same 'vein' as far as style & size.
Here's a comparison:

Get the new Camry SE V6, its way to fast for its own good and definately faster than the Honda. And we all know how fast you can go and how quickly you can acclerate is the only important thing when deciding on a car.

If those are the only choices, Camry, but the Sonata is currently rated higher and costs less. Hyundai is trying to become more competetive in the American market, and they are serious about the effort. They also get wicked gas mileage.

i would suggest camry. i am a proud owner of corolla, which is produced 15 years ago, the engine still smooth, interior still intact and nothin seems to bother me much except for minor repair work.
keep your engine oil in good condition, replace with new oil when it is due, i do it every 5000km, and change the filters as well.

You won't go wrong either way. Test drive both and compare specs and features. Compare prices and look for the best deals, including factory incentives. Check owners comments on Edmunds.com

They are both very good, very reliable cars. Both stand up great on resale.....BUT, I personally like the Accords better. It's all a matter of personal opinion =0) Let us know what you decide!!
