When Im driving my car it upshifts great, when I decelerate it stays in high gear and starts to jerk and stalls after stopping. When I start it back up and put it in gear it stalls like it is still in high gear. resantly when it would start doing this I would downshift manualy to first gear and it works. If i let it cool down for 20 min it drives fine till it gets hot. The car only has 89,000 miles on it ,never beat on what would cause this? When it first started this it only did it once or twice a month now it is all the time.

I was rear-ended yesterday in a parking lot where the speed limit would typically be areound 15 mph. I was stopped (on a hill) with a car in front of me when I was rear-ended by a lady in a jeep going about 30 mph. Luckily, I didn't hit the car in front of me, but the person who hit me pushed me about 2 feet. The back hatch of my van is completely crushed, the drivers side back door is puched toward the front of my van and is not sitting flush with the rest of the van, and it looks as if she may have bent the frame. I was taken to the ER by ambulance because of excrutiating back pain and was told I strained the muscles and I have whiplash. I went back to the doctors today because the pain was worse and they suggested physical therapy. The woman who hit me acted very non-chalant about the accident and was even chuckling as she got out of her vehicle. Now I am in horrible pain and have no vehicle to drive and just wanted to see if I should hire a lawyer? Any suggestions?

Mine would be the first car I owned: a 1971 Pontiac Ventura. Very dependable but still a little sporty.

just got the car 6 months ago. It has 40k on it. Have had a few days where the car took a little long to start but never anything to bad. I drove the car several times today and started fine. Went out tonight to move it and wouldn't start, it will turn over as it is going to start but just wont. I had the battery and alternater checked, along with fuses. Thinking either fuel injector or starter, any thoughts???

That he had to turn the headlights on, that its the law. He argued with me that if he only used his "delay" wipers, that he did NOT have to turn his headlights on. Can anyone tell me were to find the answer to this in North Carolina Laws. I need it to be specific on this...

A relative of mine was recently in a car accident. He ran into a neighbour's parked car when he swerved to miss hitting a ball that rolled onto the road (thinking a child would follow). He is on his full license (black and has 12 demerit points). When the policeman came he said that my relative would go to court and lose his license, he then measured skid marks on the road (from other people's cars) and interviewed neighbours who were not present at the accident and who did not witness it? Does anyone know whether this could go to court and what police/witness protocol is? eg. can police use witnesses who did not witness the accident?

Last June my H (47) was rear ended into an 18 wheeler when another driver fell alseep at the wheel. The driver hit the gas instead of the brake when he woke up and hit my H a 2nd time.

My H received damage to his neck and spine. He's been through 6 months of physical therapy 3 times a week, 3 epi shots, 4 opinions, and just went through back fusion surgery last month.

Back surgery alone was over $125,000 and it was the anterior/posterior type, of the 3 disks injured in his spine, one was compressing his spinal cord and causing sensory damage.

The PT, was successful on the cervical injuries.

He was coming back from a worksite, in a company provided vehicle, so worker's comp is paying all the bills.

The surgery was H's only chance of ever returning to his job in full capacity.

The attorney is going after the driver's insurance, the worker's comp and our insurance.

The medical bills alone are closing in on $250,000.

Anything left after medical and attorney?

None of that is included with the trailer?

I was looking at a 2006 scion xb...and i live in wyoming...where the weather changes every 5 minutes...but i as wondering....is it front wheel drive awd or fwd?! And how will it handle in the weather?! haha i get a car for my 16th birthday...its in december {go figure}
