my family owns a 2003 Saab 93 linear sedan and the alarm has gone off 3 times in the past 15 minutes. The doors are unlocked and the alarm goes off by itself, what could be causing this?

If you are looking to save money a 2003 9-3 is not the car for you. I love Saab, and own an '01 9-5 myself, but the 2003 9-3's are awful. Everything imaginable and more will go wrong with it, I promise. 2003 was the first model year for the newer generation 9-3 (the sport sedans). There are an incredible amount of bugs that were yet to be worked out of the design, and as a result the owners pay $$$. The car might be $2-3k cheaper up front but you will be kicking yourself down the road. Unless you can afford a 2005+ 9-3 I would stay away. If you find yourself more financially stable in the next few years check out the newer 9-3's (2005+) and 9-5's (2004+). I hear good things and am currently shopping for an '04 9-5 myself. Good luck!
