So I might be moving to the USA in the summer and im English. I heard that someone I used to know who moved to the States and is also English and 16 like me, isn't allowed to drive yet because he isn't American. What? How does that work? Will I not be able to drive?

Many people across the USA are planning to have a gas out on May 16th, as a show of force to the oil companies. I do wonder it it will have any effect, tho, since we will be buying gas on other days of the week, therefore, the oil companies will lose no money, and the "gas out" will have no effect. Anyone agree? disagree?

I know different insurance companies have different means of determining the value of a car once it has been totaled. However, I was wondering if anyone out there knew what method State Farm uses? My car was recently in an accident and may be totaled. I want to make sure I get my money's worth if it is, as it's a fully loaded Saturn Vue. Any help would be appreciated.

My S-reg Ford Escort was hit at a T-Junction by a brand new Renault Megane. Accident was their fault. She had a scraped bumper while she totalled my bumper, bonnet, wing & headlight. Is this a fair case to insist her insurers repair my car even if they end up rating it a Category C? Serious answers from those with experience of such a matter please...

I work here at Orlando International Airport.....so lucky me gets to see planes landing & taking off daily.

I noticed that the MD-80s take up almost 6000 feet of runway before rotation....whereas a larger aircraft, like the B767 or even the A300-800 takes up only about 5000-5500 feet before full rotation.

Why is this? Is the MD-80 a much heavier plane then say.....a B767?

About 2 months ago, I bought a new scooter to joy ride on back roads with my 6 year old.
When I give it the full gas for take off, it often boggs down and sometimes quits. It does starts right back up though.
Lately, when we're stopping at a stop sign or red light, I will rev it up while I apply the brakes to avoid the potential engine failure situation. I am nervous to continue to ride it on the road with its unpredictibility at 2 months old and about 120 miles.
Im hoping it is just a simple adjustment, I can do myself.
Any insight is greatly appreciated!

P.S. Yes, I do now wish I had bought a more powerful ride, but did not do my homework..(frown)

Thanks Again,
Florida Scooter Girl.

I got a 2007 Solara with this alarm system. What sets it off? Do I have to enable it in any way? Will it prevent most thefts or should I get a club for the steering wheel also? (I'm in a moderately high car theft area)

Where have all the 2007 Old's gone?

My friend needed help taking his new front and rear bumpers (bodykit for 01 galant) to the shop to install. they didn't fit in anyone else's car, so what better than my 2007 Mazda6s 5-door. both bumpers fit in my car with plenty of room to spare.

to make the long story short, when we were taking the bumpers out, the corner of one of the bumpers grazed my car's bumper. when i looked to see if it left anything, i found these 2 white streaks about 1inch wide each. i tried scratching it out with my nail but it does not budge (when i run my fingernail across it, i cannot feel any change in levels)
my friend said it's probably from the primer of his unpainted bumper and it will just buff out.

is this true? can i actually remove this stain by buffing? or should i go about this a different way, and how?

I was caught between the two cameras that I assume time you between to set points.

Unfortunalety I am a company car driver and my company has admitted that it was me who was driving. I have heard that trigger point for these camers is speed limit + 10% + 3mph.

Any advise would be gratfully recieved.
