You are driving in a car at a constant speed. On your left side is a drop-off (The ground is 18-20 inches below the level you are traveling on), and on your right side is a fire engine traveling at the same speed as you. In front of you is a galloping horse which is the same size as your car and you cannot overtake it. Behind you is another galloping horse. Both horses are also traveling at the same speed as you . What must you do to safely get out of this highly dangerous situation?

I bought a used 1991 acura"as is" 3 month ago.My husband (who is not a mechanic and doesn't know about cars that well)took it for a test drive and everything was fine....We drove it for about two month when things started to go for the worst:The belts and the brakes need to be changed,we got new tires for the car ect...
The mechanic we took the car to told us this car has numerous problems now.
I am very disapointed and upset since this is my first car and was expecting this car to last me for at least one or two years untill i get another job.The dealer of couse, told us the car was great, had no problems,ect....
Is there anything i can do legally? Can i take the dealer to small court claims?

If you've already graduated high school, and need to go in to take a driving test, what all do you need? How much does it cost, and what are all the special qualifications or whatever you need to get the license? I want to be prepared before I go in to get one, b/c I don't have one, and it is actually holding me back alot in terms of careeer options, relationships, and general functionality. I have finally grown weary of riding my bike for miles every day as a necessity, and I'm gonna get a license so I can finally drive, legally.

I have an SUV and its this really bright colored blue that I am not too fond of so I thought about getting it painted black. If I ever want to sell the car down the road, is it going to lose value because it is not the original color, or would it be better because it is a more likable color? Or would it not even matter?

I asked a question about whether or not I could do it myself, and I know now that I'm going to pay a shop. I've got prices - $50 for a drain, fill, and filter replacement. $120 for a 100% flush. Do I need to spring for the full service at 35k miles?

The WRX is around 24 grand, which my dad said he would pay for, but i have had my eye on the STI(around 33 grand) for a while. Is it worth to give my dad the 9000 and get the STI or is the WRX not so bad itself? Any other car suggestions??

Haven't been driving it - insured to "sit". Moved it a month ago - all was okay. Driver's side rear. Want to assume it's the parking brake on that wheel. Maybe pounding on the outer drum? Moved to wet climate (Oregon coast) a couple months ago but is an Ohio car so not much different. Suggestions ... or, Answers?

Should the mechanics have picked up the motor mounts being bad upon taking out the transmission and rebuilding it. After they rebuilt it and I got the car back it went out 7 days later. They told me they would not warranty it because the motor mounts broke causing the selinoid to hit something and go bad. The transmission went back to doing the same thing it did before the rebuild.

I bought this used. The motor cranked and ran, rough. While adjusting the idle, it died and would not crank at original settings. While turning the engine it pops through the carb and studders while turning ( hesitates ). 1983 Chris Craft, 3.0 liter Chevy 4 cylinder.

94 Geo Metro, purchased FEB07. Has a brand new starter (JAN07), and it started every time.

Few weeks ago it didn't start- the key would turn all the way in the ignition, but nothing. Not even a click- just like when your battery dies.

It's not the battery and the problem isn't consistent. I can start it 10 times in a day and only once or twice it won't start, and can take 3 - 7 tries to finally start (with praying and begging).

It happened in the Good Year shop (tire patch) and they suggested the ignition switch. Would really appreciate your feedback.

PS - Key is a bit of a pain- doesn't always turn door locks first try, same for going into the ignition at times. Can a key cause this issue?
