I recently was in a car accident, and am being charged with careless driving which is total crap. Yes, I did rear end the person, but it is because they decided to stop when they were literally a foot away from the car in front of them. I have witnesses. Is there anyway that I can appeal this charge?

The car is a 92 Olds Cutlass Ciera. Here's what it's doing:

Most of the time, it's just fine. This is my husband's car, and he takes it to work daily. When going to work, he drives the highway, with only a few blocks worth of in-town driving (getting to and from the highway). It's fine. Most of the time driving in town, it's ok too. But every so often (about 5 times in the past month and a half), it acts up. The best way I can describe what it's doing is it will start to stutter badly, then quietly die. It ONLY does this when decelerating at a stop. When it dies, it will fire right back up again with no problem. But, it starts, and then it revs itself up rather high, slowly smoothing back out. Once it idles down and smooths out, it will idle fine. However, we put it in gear, and it immediately dies again. We have to let it sit there, turned off, for anywhere from 10-30 minutes. After the wait, it fires right up, acts normal, and goes into gear just fine and off we go.

I have a Mazda 1998 626, 4 cyl car. I just noticed that the radiator overflow tank was almost empty and promptly filled it up with a 50/50 antifreeze-water mixture. The question now is, should I also fill up the radiator directly or should filling the tank be enough?

Thanks in advance...

I heard there is something you put in your engine after you drain the oil and let your motor run for like 5 min and drain again and it will clean out your engine, anyone ever heard of this?

Well, I have a TTR 125, 4 stroke. The bike tends to build up compression really bad to the point where I can't kick start. I read somewhere that if you take out the plug then kick start it might help. It did but, now I still have the problem of it building up the compression and being unable to kick. This makes it really hard to try and start a bike that hasn't been started for 6 months. Any GOOD advice is much appreciated.

Ok so it was snowing pretty badly last month here in Utah and I was driving along and the driver to my right (was slightly ahead of me) and as I approached and began to slowly pull ahead of her on her left she switched lanes (while I was in her blind spot, at least that's all I can presume) and we pretty much hit side by side. I lost my right side mirror and she lost her left side mirror but her door was all jacked up too. So we pull over and call the highway patrol (we never spoke to each other) So he comes and tells us we're going to go over to mcdonalds at the next exit to fill out the report. So we fill out the reports and turn them into him and then he's like "You know she said YOU hit HER." ugh!!! So I asked him, "So what happens now if she's lying and there were no witnesses?" And he said that it will basically all come off of his report. So his report comes out ten days later and it's in my favor! Then I call her insurance company and they still won't pay! Help me. :o(

I'm only looking for a basic adjustment...I don't know anything about carbs so I can't do that advanced stuff. I just need to know how to adjust the 2 screws in the front which I am guessing controls how rich or lean the mixture is. I'm sure I only need a screwdriver, but maybe I need something else. If you have any other basic tips for me that will help it run better, please let me know. Thanks a lot guys.

I'm 5'4" and love the look and feel of the low rider but I'm also leaning toward the street bob. I will be test driving both soon so I know that will be the deciding factor but I'd love more input on the balance, turn ratio, etc. for both if anyone has any insight.

I have all of those tools, I didn't know if I needed anything special. I do have one problem, some of the screws are old or had been painted over so they are stuck and when I tried to unscrew them I kinda messed up and stripped the screw or rounded the head off or something I dunno I can't get it off. Is there a tool that I can get that off with or do I just use pliers or something. I have the manual and the shop manual from cadillac and some wiring diagrams. I just need to take the damn thing apart and it's hard :(

We have a 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SE. 3800 series II engine, 6 cylinders, no supercharger, with air conditioning and have been having an ongoing problem for quite some time now. The car starts fine and runs for a while and then it'll stall and we're left waiting 15-20 mins, sometime longer before we can start it again. It doesn't matter if the engine is hot or cold, and doesn't seem to coincide with the weather. We've taken it to 2 different mechanics and had these things fixed already, but the problem persists!: Fuel Pressure regulator, Starter, water pump and vacuum linkage. If anyone has an idea as to what might be causing this I'd appreciate your advice. We've already had over 1000 dollars in repairs in 2 months and certainly can not afford a new vehicle.
