Blown master cylinder seals.

If the booster was no good, you would have a VERY hard time pushing the pedal down.

If your the brake booster has a problem then the brake pedal would feel heavy. The brake booster assists in braking by increasing the amount of force applied to the brakes. By design, the brakes should still work even if the brake booster develops a problem.

If the pedal reaches all the way to the floor and you have no brakes, then your problem is either:

1. You have a leak in your hydraulic brake system. Either something has come loose or a rubber hose has broken or cut. You can easily know by checking the level of brake fluid in the reservoir. If its empty, then you most probably have a leak.
2. The rubber seals on your brake master cylinder have worn out dont seal and push the hydraulic fluid. Usually when this happens, you still have hydraulic fluid in the reservoir.

Have it checked by a good mechanic. Repairs are usually easy and fairly affordable.

you need 2 people to do this.fill your master cylinderand have one pump your brake pedal with the engine running while you look at the booster and follow the hiss.see if it is leaking fluid out the bottom or back along the firewall.if the hiss is from the rubber line and grommet on thefront of the booster you may get away with replacement of that line, but if fluid has gone into the booster you will have to change it.GoodLuck.
