I'm 5'4" and love the look and feel of the low rider but I'm also leaning toward the street bob. I will be test driving both soon so I know that will be the deciding factor but I'd love more input on the balance, turn ratio, etc. for both if anyone has any insight.

Street Bob hands down. The m.o.c.o. charges big bucks for a Low Rider and it's basically a Dyna S/G with all bolt on stuff. If your gonna go for the Low Rider do yourself a favor and look at the Softail Standard first. The Softail is almost a thousand bucks less so that's a thousand bucks worth of goodies plus the Softail motor is balanced.

street bob with the factory apes looks real good. basically they're the same bike, except the low rider is an inch longer. the ape's on the street bob gives it a slight chopper look and i think they'd look better on the low rider myself.

I have an old Lowrider. It's a 1987 and it is my favorite bike to ride.I 've done a few mods. to mine to personalize it and to give it a little extra pep.My seat height is 26 1/2 inches.Mine is the sport model (FXRS) so they came with a set of 2" longer fork tubes. These are great bikes for shorter people.I don't know much about the Street Bob,but if it's a Harley you can't go wrong.Good Luck.

I was looking at the street bob myself - but with the bobtail rear fender from the wide glide - in flat black (Denim). Add some short shots and black it out a bit more. Lowriders are everywhere....stand out.
