I have Nissan Sentra 2002. I recently had my battery changed. The new battery died after few days. I went back to the shop and they put a new battery. The new battery died again. I went back again to the shop and now they are telling me that my car has electrical problem that drawn the battery down. My car has no problem before I got the battery changed. So I am wondering if a mechanical mistake in changing the battery can cause electrical problem.

Is 104080 mi. too much? About how many miles can those type of vehicles have on them before they start to crap out?? Do you think $3000 is a resonable $ for it?

What is a 128 point inspection supposed to consist of when your buying a used car from a dealer? We bought one the other day we were told it had a 128 point inspection, and it just died right in the middle of the freeway no more than 20 mins after we took it off the lot.

I have a '65 mustang with manual brakes (four drums). Obviously it is an outdated system, however I have had almost no problems out of it.

I was having a discussion with an older guy at work, and was mentioning that when I first get in the car, I usually push the brake pedal in, and let it out to get it 'pumped up', so that if I need to stop suddenly while I am driving, I don't have to worry about the pedal dropping to the floor.

He seemed to be convinced that there was some sort of problem with my brake system, although I have changed all four brake cylinders and the master cylinder. None of the brake lines leak, and I have had no problem with brake power. They will lock up easily if I slam on them, but that is true of every car without ABS.

Is he on crack? (he is kind of a weirdo) Or does it sound like I maybe got a defective master cylinder? I constantly have discussions of this sort with this guy, and he usually comes off as a crackpot.

If we could easily have by now replaced the internal combustion engine with a motor using nano-lithium battery technology why do we still drive with internal combustion engines? Its not really new technology. It is derived from Lithium-ion technology. This has been around since the 1960's. Its only been recently that the technology has been applied. These batteries can be charged with power sources not using fossil fuels therefore no pollution is added to the atmosphere. There are even cargo trucks now using this technology in the UK. These batteries have a range of 250 miles.
Top speed of 95 MPH and 0-60 in 10 seconds. Never stops at a gas station again. Cost $50,000 which is not to far off from the price of your average new large diesel truck. These are the specs for a truck.
Any cars with much less weight will go faster and farther.
Tesla Roadster goes 0-60 in 4 seconds, top speed over 130 MPH, 250 mile range, charges in 3.5 hours. Battery life is over 100,000 miles. Bye BIG OIL!
