I personally am a huge fan of Valvoline Max Life.
Which is specifically designed for high milage vehicles.

But if you dont want to go that route, then stick to the brand that you've been using all along.

From what ive read on oils, with a high mileage engine you should stay with a natural oil. Synthetics are thinner and tend to leak out of any areas were the seals arent holding. Dont mix them though.

Mixing will not cause any trouble, but you won't get the full benefit from the synthetic. If I were you, I would use one of the new blends. (Semi-Synthetic) The cost is less than 50% the price of synthetic, but will still give you excellent peformance.

The truth is that doing regular oil and filter changes will do more for you car than high priced oil.

use what has gotten you 150K, don't switch now, why would you want to? if something's not broke don't fix it.
