average car gets 12000 miles per year. a 96 jeep would have 130,000 or more on average.
if it runs well, 3000 for a jeep could be a good buy. be sure you get the suspension checked out and the tranny. those could set you back more tahn you paid for the car.

jeeps will run forever. I'd say 104080 is around average as far as miles go. If it's in ok shape $3000 should sell prety easily. Those are solid cars.

my opinion is that most people drive 15000 miles a year, and that is an 11 year old Jeep. The big question is condition. Was it cared for? you really need a mechanic to take a peek at it to determine if there is anything major wrong with it.

Well, if you figure 12,000 mi. per year that would be 120,000 mi. so that's probably pretty good. My husband had a 1997 Grand Cherokee when I met him with 105,000 mi. on it. It had 115,000 on it when we traded it. It was still running great. I would think $3,000 is probably reasonable for it.

I suppose it's a 4.0L inline six. those things do in excess of 300000 and alot more miles before crapping out if properly maintained. Haggle down to 2800
