how can I find a diagram for the engine of a 99 cadilac sts.

If the fan belt diagram is what you need, go to the dealer and they will show the picture for free. All you will need to do is draw a diagram of the system and go home and put the belt on.

There should be a decal located somewhere under the hood with a belt routing diagram.

best bet is to spend $17 on a repair service manual at the nearest auto store. That should have all the basic repair info needed. This is something that every car owner should do.

Have you seen the repair books by Haynes they should have what you are looking for.They show a complete tear down and rebuild. You can probably find it on-line or in the local auto parts store.

there should be one under the hood of the car on the fenderwell or by the radiator and if not there look in your owners manual, if all else fails see the parts man at the caddy dealership and he can print the diagraphm out for you.
