I have a 2000 firebird (v6) warped rear disc brakes. Also, how important is it to bleed the brakes. On my 90's camaro I never bled them and never had a problem. Please help me out.

I got a parking ticket whilst dropping my daughter off outside a friend's house. I have noticed though that the registration number on the ticket is wrong. They have put dwn 00 instead of 52. Am I lucky and got away with the fine?

Other than the obvious difference in length, what is the difference between a car frame and a truck frame? And why do they "ride" differently?

I'm trying to replace the driver's side brake light bulb. I have removed the metal screws but it seems like the lens is still being held by plastic clips. If I pull hard will I break anything? ON my Ford Windstar the lens pops off after two screws are removed and is easy to put back on. I'm afraid I'll break a clip or two and not be able to get it back on after I replace the light bulb. Help!

When you buy a used car that is privately owned and NOT from a dealer, do you still have to pay tax? My dad said something like for every $1000 the car cost you have to pay $80. The car I want is $15,000 and my dad said tax would be $2000. He said it's the only way to register the car, you have to pay tax. Is this true?

Right i have just passed my driving test in a manual car , and drive quite contently, but my step dad said to me today that you should ALWAYS get the car into its TOP possibe gear as quickly as possible even at 30mph.. i never did this on my lessons, and can not imagine using 5th gear at 30mph.. is he right? he says it uses less petrol??? no im confused, i dont know if im wearing out the engine or somet by driving in 3/4th gear at 30mph?

I want to purchase a "Point A To Point B" vehicle for my young son. who wil be traveling from school to his part time job. This will be his first vehicle and I don't want to spend alot of money until he is more experienced. Someone told me about the auctions offered in my city. I would like to know what they are all about and would the cars be safe or worth it. What should I look out for and how prepared should I be?
