Will I know when I am about to blow my subs? They aren't overpowered but they do make some different noises when they are pushed. Would I know when I am about to blow my subs and speakers?

I just had my car windows professionally tinted (2003 honda accord coupe). I didn't realize until after I left that the tint on the rear window doesn't go all the way to the top of the glass. It stops right before those dots around the edge that (I understand) are there to keep the window from cracking from heat. (The tint does go to the edge on the sides and bottom, although the dots cover 3-4 inches on the top of the rear window, and only an inch or so on the other sides.) I'm going to go back to see if it can be fixed; but is there a reason for this?

I am looking to buy a car for between $8000-$12000. I looking at two possibilities: either buying a a regular car with mileage around 40,000-55000(possibly a Mitsubishi Eclipse(2001). The option I was thinking about is getting a higher mileage luxury car. I have heard about Lexus's and BMW's that literally run forever, and I was thinking that even if I bought one of them that had high miles, I could still get a lot of life out of it. I would appreciate advice on whether its better to buy a cheaper car with low miles or a luxury car with high miles in the price range of $8-$12000.

My back rear right side of my car is making a clicking sound and a few times I'm at a stop light, the bottom of my car is making a loud horn sound with a vibration. Do you have any clue as to what it could be? And, how much you think it may cost? (so I don't get screwed over by them) Thanks.

I have an '84 Chevy Camaro Z28 that is in good shape for its age. Engine is the G code HO engine with 113K miles. When I go to start the engine first thing in the morning, it won't start. Holding the gas pedal down doesn't seem to work that great, but if I pump the gas pedal 5-9 times and THEN try to start it, it fires up almost right away. After that, it starts on the first try for the rest of the day. The problem only occurs after it has been sitting overnight. Any ideas on what the problem is? I'm doing most of the work on the car myself, and I'm pretty new to cars (I'm living out of my Haynes & Chilton's guides). Most of my money is going to parts to restore/improve the car, so I don't want to take it to a mechanic unless I absolutely have to... Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

i am thinking about removing it off my 94 ranger.i have a k&n filter and a cherry bomb turbo exaust. i have herd it might increase proformance, and definatly makes it sound meaner...but i was wonder how bad it would hurt my gas millage. i get around 20 mpg now

It's a Ford Ranger, 2003. I have all the doors closed completely, and I haven't even opened them for months. The whole time I've had it closed the door ajar light goes off, but it always comes back on. Its not even the indicator light that bothers me, it's the fact that the inside lights won't turn off when the door "is open." Do you have any solutions?

I have the title and bill of sale ready to go. But NYSDMV says when I sell the car I give the buyer a bill of sale, the title, destroy the registration and take the plates. But if the car is on the street without registration/plates it will get a ticket. How do I give a bill of sale/title and not take the plates? How does the buyer get new plates/registration if I don't give a bill of sale and title? Seems like a catch 22.

ok, ive got a 99 nissan frontier 4cyl 2.4l i believe. the c/e lights been on for sometime now and i finally took it to the mechanic and they say the codes reading as cylinder 1 misfire. is kind of on and off... does it when it wants to... :p weve done EVERYTHING that the mechanic said was a possiblity and it hasnt worked... lights still on. only idea he has left is the computer.... says it may need a new one... what do you think? the trucks at nissan right now (where the mech. told me to take it) and theyre being jerks... as usual =)

I have a 1990 BMW 750 iL
The engine and tranny have only 50,000 miles on it but the car tis self has 160,000
The interieror is very clean. No rips in the leather and the car runs good no problems at all. Power every thing and a sun roof. 4 door and i put a dvd player in it with two 12 inch sub woofers in the trunk with an 1800 wat amp. tires brand new.


How much could i sell this for and where i live in southern california

I have a 1986 325e, with a replaced radiator/water pump/thermostat/new belts

My heater only works on selection 4 and A/C doesn't work
The car overheats ONLY at IDLE and its intermittent however it overheats more so than it doesn't, when I step on the accelerator the car immediately cools down. There is not a coolant or oil leak at all under the car or spewing under the hood.
