before when I turn the wheel to the right I would hear a clicking noise but now i just notice that it went away
What does that mean?

well it would probably be best to take it to a mechanic and let them check and make sure the power steering is ok........it probably just needs some grease to lubricate so it wont squeak ....the only other thing it could b is when some steering wheels click in the lock position when the key is not fully turned when put in the ignition....hope this helps good luck

If you have a front or all wheel drive car I would suspect the axels, my subaru does the same thing whenever the CV joints are going out. Id have the CV boots and joints inspected and the splines on the end of the axles. If you have a manual transmission or drive your car rather fast and hard the splines can start to slip which will also cause a clicking sound, though usually during acceleration.

if you have checked your power steering fluid to be good. then you should make sure that your steering rack isnt bent from a impact (have u hit a curb?) this could bend a tooth and make a clicking noise for a small ammount of the steering radius, then as the rack is pounded back it should clear up the noise BUT will not fix the bent rack.. have it checked out to be sure!

have your cv joints checked. also look on the inside of the wheel, you'll see a boot, is it ripped?
