there are two ways of doing so. If your going to scrap it anyway you could pop the lock out of the door or just call the scrap yard they should have a flatbed truck they could send and just drag it up and they would then worry about it. By taking the lock out you should be able to take the lock to a locksmith to make a key. If the car is scrap I wouls just call the wrecking yard and ask them if they could pick it up with out the key.. Would save you a lot of trouble. They usually can.

some great answers.
if the car is to be scrapped anyway, and if the doors are all locked, you could try asking to borrow a slim jim from a local garage to slide between the window glass and the door frame to open the door so you can get in to release the hand brake and roll it down your drive ready for the scrap yard to collect.
the scrap yard may even have a way to get into the car such as the slim jim.
you could always smash the window on the car to get in to release the hand brake. then remove the steering lock.
it really is up to you how you get into your old car. remember if the car is scrap with no tax and no insurance even driving it to the scrap yard would cost you more than the car is worth should you get caught. so call out the scrap dealer to collect it.

the council as suggested by another person will not normally collect a car from a garage, collections by the council is normally for abandoned vehicles. (this depends on your local council some may remove the car others will not).

Your scrapping the car yes? Open the stearing column cover, take a screwdriver put it accross the wires at the back of the ignition barrel, fiesta? yellow an blue if my memory serves me correctly. An away ya go.

Oh, an if you can't open the car using a slim jim, ( fiesta's are easy to do that with, I've gotten into mine with a coat hanger before,) then take the porcelain part of a spark plug an flick it at a rear window, its the quietest way to break the glass. Or if thats to cold this time of year hit a screwdriver on 2-4 opposite sides of your boot lock, a swift kick an it will pop out.

The scrap dealer will not need the keys so simply crawl underneath the car & cut the handbrake cable so you can push the car out of the garage ready for the scrap dealer to pick up.

scrap dealers get paid by local government to recycle waste cars and so will usually offer a free removal service or may even give you cash if you have the documents ,so ring the council

Open the door, roll the sucker to the edge of the street and just leave the door open for a couple of nights. It'll probably be gone after the weekend!

i own a shop, and if you know anyone who owns a dent puller ,you can use a small screw with it,and yank the ignition out of it,if your not trying to save it that's the only way to get it out,so you can move it,good luck with it,maybe this will help.
