Yes you can. Search on the term "car wrap" (without the quotes) to find providers. The cite below is one of them. The biggest catch is that there's a transponder in your car. You have to go to a garage where they download the data once or twice a month. Also, you're automatically disqualified if you park the car in the same place every day, like in a garage. Bottom line: if your lifestyle is compatible with their requirements, it's easy money. If not, it's more hassle than it's worth.

Yes it is true. Do your research. You can be paid to place a small ad on your car or have it fully wrapped with an ad. It depends on your area and how much/far you drive when determining how much you'd get paid. Most company's have requirements to meet. Sometimes you'll be paid for gas plus some extra for having it on your car. Other times there are cars available from the company, and you'd just have to pay insurance. Different companies go about it in different ways.
Just do some research on each one and follow their directions about how to get started.

You definately won't get a free car.
Advertisers generally won't pay a consumer the 'going rate.' You may be able to negotiate something that will amount to pennies for your trouble.
Occasionally, you'll come across a promotional contest in which a company will pay you a decent amount of money for engraving their name and logo on your head, or naming your first born after them. If you come across something like this, do what you will.
Basically, if you paint a company's brand on your car, the only way they can guarantee exposure is to oblige that you drive your car a certain distance each day, to certain destinations of their choosing, and to not paint over the branding when you get sick of it, and/or people start harassing you on the road or treating you like a 'tool.'

Well, as far as I know you have to OWN the car and they pay you monthly for driving the wrapped car. I guess you could make your car payment with the money they pay you, but I have never heard of them handing out free wrapped cars.
I don't know a site that does it, sorry.
