My propellers were smashed on a coral head while at anchor in rough seas. I need to change them under water. Need advice from someone who has done this before, or insight into extra problems I may come across while trying to do this. The water is shallow enough to stand in, but no possibility to haul the boat where it is.

This is a hypothetical. This story did not happen to me but I want to know what
would happen.

I was on the freeway doing 40 MPH and I hit another car. My car was smashed in
in the front and nothing happened to the car in front of me. It was my fault,
but I agreed with the driver in front that we should both just leave and I'll
deal with my car. I drove away.

I called my insurance company and told them that I was backing up and someone
hit me and ran. I'm hoping my insurance company will fix the car and just be
done with the situation.

What will the claims adjuster do? And what happens if they determine that it was
not a hit n run? Are there any consequences other than me having to pay my own
to fix the car?

Again... this did not happen to me, but I want to understand the consequences
and if it's fraud.

Fresh oil poured into a iternal combustion engine and just run for a couple of kms , the oil would have changed color, that is the golden color would have become dark grey/black. why is this so, this occurs even in new vehicles

Hi,

I recently had a new alternator fitted in my car however, after some weeks the battery light was coming on and off intermittently. I took it back to get checked out and i was told that i had a fuel leakand diesel was being sprayed over the new alternator and that had 'soaked' it. I was told the fuel leak had been fixed but that the alternator might dry out but he was unsure as he did not know how diesel reacted.

About 10 days later of flickering the light came full on, that evening i could see the belt had come off. My local regular garageinforms me that 3 holding bolts were missing and likly caused all the damage bouncing, NOT the diesel as he believd that the diesel wouldnt affect the unit. He also said that he would have sent it back to the supplier, something the fitting garage refused to do!

Bit confused now as if the fitting garage did me wrong then i want them to pay for the work to get this fixed so could anyone advise on what diesel would do to an alternator?

What's your guys opinion about how much to spend on a car considering that you have no expenses except for insurance. Would you rather pay $850 a month for a awesome car(fill in) or $500 a month for a descent car(Civic si) and you make $2000 a month? (This is just for like 5 years or so)

I have a 1997 Honda Civic that is in like-new condition. It only has 25k miles on it, so you can only imagine that the rest is in incredible condition. Minus a couple of scratches, the exterior is in excellent condition. I'm curious of the average cost to paint it black, as white shows so much dirt, too many scratches... and I want to fix the car up a bit so it doesn't look it's actual age- white bores me! ;)

ok today when i turned my car to go to work it started to shake like if it wanted to turn off it went for about 6 seconds and then the check engine light started to blink like about 3 times then i cut the power and turn it on again same thing but no blinking check engine light what could this problem be?? i have the check engine light on now and ran the codes but it never blinked b4 can u guys help me out?? thanks

I just got rear ended fifteen minutes ago. It did some damage to my bumper and I took the other driver's information down.

I feel frazzled. Is that normal?
And no, I am not going to sue anyone..I'm fine, just fearful.
