i got big rust whole and rust spots what can i buyy to fix these before i get my car inspected

I do not know anything about cars, except that i drive one! I want to get a car stereo put into my vehicle( 2004 alero) so that i can play my ipod in my car. Ive looked on ebay, searched the web, but nothing is better than word of mouth.

I would like to know what all i need to get ( or order)
How do i know the new stereo will fit in my stereo spot? What is the cheapest way of going about doing this without getting taken advantage of? I would LOVE to get bluetooth installed, BUT i am just a college student on a tight budget. Eventually i want to get these things done though! Guys, tell me your advice, and secrets to save money!

My 2004 Hyundai Accent has 18,600 miles and the service dept says I need to have injectors cleaned. I think this is ridiculous.

car stops but starts up right away. a few times it did not go off but car jumped forward acting as though it was going to die the only check lights coming on are battery and brake i checked battery and it is good. any suggestions before i take it to shop thank you

I have a 2002 Saturn manual transmission car with about 55, 000 miles that has never once given me a problem. It had gotten plowed in after the snowstorm this weekend, but this morning it looked like enough snow had melted to move it. However, now it won't start! (yesterday it started but wouldn't move.) The battery powered stuff seems to be working and the engine is trying to turn over. Could something underneath the hood have gotten wet or damaged from the snow? If that's the case, could it rectify itself? What could the problem be and what do I do?

I recently was driving in the snow and my car slid and I hit some curbing. Since then my front left tire (the one that struck the curb) appears to have been pushed back and when I turn it in certain ways it rubs against the back of the wheelhouse. What could the problem be?

I just got a new battery at Sears (prorated replacement). The car was not holding enough of a charge. Now the starter barely spins when you turn the key. All of the warning lights dim and then the starter does spin and the car starts. When you first turn the key, it really sounds like you are not going to start. I have cleaned the battery terminals by removing them from the battery and cleaning them with a wire brush tool. Do I need a new starter or soleniod or should I just check the connections down there for dirt or corrosion? The vehicle is a 1996 Volvo 850 non-turbo.

i want to get a bmw, but i've been told about their electrical problems and high repair cost from my mom who had an 87 325i. what mileage should i be aimming for and if not a bmw what else should i get for 10,000 or under.

Okay. Looking at puchasing a vehicle to "pimp out". I mean I want to keep this ride for at least a few years and do up the exterior with custom paint and graphics, as well as all custom interior - i want to turn it into a show car. Also I want to but the car in an Auto Transmission (I do alot of driving and its easier). But at the same time I want the car to have a bit of "grunt" under the hood (not a drag car but able to "have a street reputation") what do you think I should get. Please list any suggestions/mods you would impliment for the body work or interior or engine.

Car is a 2004 Volkswagon Passat 2 litre SE model.

Car is telling me to STOP and check coolant level and is overheating?

Have checked the coolant level and all looks fine.

Anyone got any ideas what can be causing this?

I have a 1995 Mercury Mystique, 2.5L V6 automatic. Today on my way to work the power steering went all together. I checked the fluid in the reservoir and it was a little low, so i topped it off, but I do not think that is the problem. When i put the PS fluid in, i got the power steering back, but only for a few minutes. I think it may be the PS Pump, but I also found it odd that the power steering fluid reservoir was "bubbling" and making a lot of noise when the car was idling. I checked the serpantine belt, and its is brand new (i replaced it a few months ago) and it is still in great shape, and is not slipping. Anyones experience/expertise in this would be very appreciated. Suggestions? Ideas? Is my car not safe to drive? Thanks!
