I have thought about that. but Harley's are expensive and i am not sure i am ready for that much bike. plus my hubby has a Honda shadow 1100 so i would kind of liek to have a smaller model of what he has. I think its just hot when couples bike compliement each other. you know his and hers. Kind of girly i know but hey what can i say.

I don't care what anyone says, Ebay Motors is still a great place to buy a motorcycle. I have at least 2 personal friends who've purchased motorcycles online within the last year and both of them have had extremely smooth transactions. Just be weary of anything that sounds too good to be true.

As far as your Honda Shadow goes, my best advice to you is to look for about a 2003 or 2004 model, those are going to be the best compromise between features and pricing.

You should be able to get a used one with low miles around $3000 or so, don't pay more than that.

Check out NADA's website to establish the used value of any potential bike you might be looking at purchasing before you go in on one.

Also sometimes Ebay even offers delivery service or shipping for certain motorcycles.

Best of Luck and be safe out there in Iraq.

Have you tried Harley Davidson website? They have used bikes for sale in all price ranges. I know a bunch of girls (women) who are 5' - 5' 4" who fit real nice on a Sportster 883 or 1200 Low. They were built especially for women.

Have you tried your local dealerships yet? Lots of them sell pre-owned bikes too. How bout you local newspapers? That way you can see the mtc before you buy.

I dont trust online buying such a expensive item without
seeing or hearing it, ya know?

Buy local and help your community live unless you live in boonies.
