i have a 2002 cavalier and just put aftermarket stereo in, the factory one that was in it shut off too, the same way, i did lose the door chimes, everything else seems fine, but what is making the radio shut off all of a sudden, when im driving, and how do i fix it?? PLEASE HELP!!!

I am reletively new to car audio and I was just wondering what the difference between SQ and SPL was. I am looking for some subs to put in my Grand Am that provide some serious glass breaking bass, but still sound good while doing it. I am considering Oz Audio, but idk...any suggestions here would be helpful also. Thanks

It is an automatic. I know that can't be good. Does anyone know what could be making it do that? Sometimes I am scared to drive it. It does it at any speed too. Any time it needs to shift it revs up that high!

Hi,

I've received on mail a parking ticket from the Italian police for something they claim happened a year ago. (I live outside of Europe) In the ticket the car plate is mentioned correctly, but
the type of car isn't. I've rented LANCIA and they written FIAT.
I wonder if it is a case to appeal? They say that if I appeal and "loose" I'll pay a nee fee which will be at least 2x. (Currently is stands on ~80euro!!!) The other option they
mention is to appeal to their court. If I'll loose there I'll have to pay their taxes/fees...

So I kinda don't know what to do...
I do have a document from the caqr rent mentioning the type of car, they actually can check it also in their computer probably.
They could just made a mistake writing down the plate number for some FIAT and got to me. And is it valid at all a year after?

ok so i only have a jl 300/4(75x4rms) and an infinty basslink(200rms) and i can't tell which is causing the dimming. when i disconnect the basslink i still get dimming, when i disconnect the jl i still get the dimming, BUT!!! it dims slightly when at idle and it doesn't when i'm driving. since this is a very small dim i think a cap would do, but where do i put the cap? before the jl or before the basslink, since they both cause the dimming? or would an optima battery take care of it? or an higher output alt? if the alt, where can i get one for my '06 Nissan Xterra. I've looked but have not found any.

Recently my car (a P reg Corsa) has started making a noise if I take a corner at speed, or go quickly around a roundabout. It's hard to describe the noise, but it's like a grinding/rubbing sound. The wheel is nowhere near full lock. Any ideas what could it be?

I drive a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport. It has 88000 miles on it. For the past week there has been alot of noise coming from the front drivers side. Now, it only happens when I'm turing the wheel or when I'm stopping. The noise is pretty loud. I was told it is the Ball Joints? How long do they last after they start making noise? The problem with the truck is that the clutch is out on it. i want to sell it for parts. how much do you think i should be able to get for...and also...if you want to buy it please contact me via e-mail...everything else on the truck is great. it has a towing package and is standard(stick). the 4 wheel drive works great. the breaks are good, not perfect. new engine with only about 50,000 miles. new cilinoid, starter, alternator. i love this truck more than any vehicle i have ever had i just cant aford to fix the clutch
