It is an automatic. I know that can't be good. Does anyone know what could be making it do that? Sometimes I am scared to drive it. It does it at any speed too. Any time it needs to shift it revs up that high!

its your transmision problem.. have your trans oil flushed..
(it doesnt cost that much)

Sounds like a transmission issue. It should be taken in for a proper diagnosis and repair.

sounds to me like your rev limiter switch is faulty
