She was driving today and all of a sudden it started idling randomly. Her antifreeze is low, could that be the cause of it? She just had her oil changed, so that isn't it. Help plz

I put on the defroster and the ice on the outside melts but the inside of the windshield is just saturated. This doesn't happen to the other 2 cars that are outside with my car. I checked all the windows and doors and they're all completely shut. It's happened for a while now and the seat belts are actually beginning to grow mold. Why is this happening...

I slid into a wall in my '07 Maxima (I know, I know), and now the front left tire points out at the top by about 3/4". The dealer has replaced the bent strut and rim, but it's not fixed. They are changing the spindle and repacking the bearings tomorrow, but is this correct? The wall did jut out at the bottom, so the bottom portion of the tire took all of the impact. They are suggesting the tie rods next and then the upper and lower arms, but none of these looked damaged. Anybody out there know car anatomy that could perhaps tell me the part(s) most likely to be damaged by this type of impact? There is no vibration in the steering wheel (even before the repairs), so the guy said this rules out the lower arm (I think). There has to be a way to narrow it down without the process of replacement-and-elimination...... Any ideas are greatly appreciated. BTW, I know it was a very stupid thing to do, so please only comment on possible solutions. Thank you.

Car dealer is claiming I fried my onboard computer by changing my battery and won't cover repairs under a warranty I purchased from them. The MR2 wouldn't start so tried to jump start it. That didn't work so I replaced the battery with a similar one. After I put the new battery in, it still didn't start. I have never heard of frying an onboard computer by jumpstarting or changing a battery. Is there any truth in what the dealer claims or am I getting scammed?

I noticed that in places like New Mexico, maybe Arizona, Navada and well I have to say Mexico because it's so close. My question is that is it ok to drive as fast as you want on those roads that are just straight for miles with few hills? I looked at videos of racing in area's in USA that are just desert and I suppose new mexico, arizona nevada and mexico are those places. I never saw a cop. So can people drive as fast as they want?

I bought an Eclipse and I really enjoy it. In fact I use to own a Camry and decided to go to a sports car. If Toyota had made one I would have considered them more, because they are top of the line when it comes to cars and my family are Toyota lovers. I have to get use to is not having a whole lot of room to work with, and having some blind spots which is really hard to get use to. If I had to do it again, I guess I would have gone for the 07 Solara or maybe Camry. I kind of liked the Solara except I didn't care much for the style in the back and it doesn't have much curve appeal. Let me know what you think.

My 1998 Dakota has no heat; the hot water hoses into and out of the heater core are hot. The mode doors work and direct air to the dash vents, defroster and floor. Problem is that the air is outside temp even when the engine is at normal operating temp. Does anyone know if the blend door is vacuum operated, cable operated or electrically operated. Also, do you know how to get to the blen door if it can be operated manually. Lastly, would a stuck hot water shut off valve cause this (I have hot water both in and out of the heater core so this may be unlikely)
thanks in advance.

I normally don't care about what kind of cars people drive, but honestly sometimes SUVs frighten me. They're very tall and very big--often it seems only one person is driving it! (And this is in a suburban area, where there are almost no off-roads or mountainous regions within a few hours drive.)

Sometimes I worry when they cut in front or pull right up next to me when I try to make a turn--can't see anymore with that huge block of metal in front of me.

I've read that SUVs test poorly in road safety, ie, strong possibilities that it will roll over or crush a smaller car. Not to mention the huge space they take up in parking spaces, so it's like trying to park or leave on a dime.

Honestly they must be a huge hassle when it comes to parking, paying for gas, etc. It might be profitable for automakers, but what's the appeal of them?
