If both are in the rear view mirror or overhead console there is likely a loose connection somewhere. You'll need a Ford wiring diagram or mechanic to figure out the snake pit under your dash. I suspect it's an easy fix ... once you find it!

Yeah if it's a earlier model, 1999-2004 Heritage, You will need a mechanic to check it out but I think maybe that the little module went south and needs a new one.. it's built all together behind that LCD display if I remember...

If newer truck 2004-today ... Is display out or just lighting?
If you can still see numbers, need bulb.. other than that dealer.

If its on the console, leave the switch on, and try tapping on it, or hitting it and see if the display comes on. If it does, its the display

Hate to ask but on mine it has a on off and Celsius switch I'm sure you did this but you never know
