i really need advice a year ago i baught a car from a friend .We agreed that i would pay her monthly payement for a year
now the year is up and i have been advice that she didnt make her montly payement and the repos is looking for the car
what can i do what r my right

I have nissan altima 2003, the service engine soon light had come on so I took it to the dealership. They told me that I had a bad radiator and that my car was overheating. My question is my car has never overheated according to the gauge and I have never seen any physical evidence (steam) to show that it has been overheating...do you think that I am being lied to?

in the wrong place. So could someone that has one or knows, tell the order of the wiers on the distribuor cap.

I travel up on Friday evenings and come back on Sunday evenings. I don't always know in advance when I'm going and so never qualify for the £12.50 single tickets on Virgin. Is there another way?

I know this sounds funny but it is so true. I don't necessarily think it is the fear of driving but maybe driving to places far (heavy traffic areas or places that I never been) becuase I can drive around town as long as I know where I am going. Other than that, I have an intense fear of driving to places I have never been even if they are real close. My boyfriend has to take me to a lot of places and I hate that because I think his driving is making it worse. Im basically fearing for my life and praying to GOD for my safety instead of paying attention to the roads. He does like 80-100 mph on the freeway, swerves in and out of traffic, and tailgates anybody in front of him. I tell him to stop but he acts like everythings fine. Anyways, people are always asking me to come over but I'm too scared to go anywhere even with the directions.

I have not registered it in my name, and I am moving from California to Texas in a week. does anybody know what I have to do? Can I just go to the DMV with the person im giving it to and put it in her name instead of mine? This car was a gift from my grandparents if that makes any difference.

Other drivers often have a go at us for driving to slowly and I have a 2.5ltr car I drive safley and up to the speed limits.So why do other drivers consider that they must overtake the old driver,Do they take it as an insult that I can go just as fast as them and probably drive in a safer manner than they do,35yrs emergency and private driving and no dents.

Is low mileage better then the newness of the car? For instance is it better to buy a 1994 toyota with 85,000 miles or a 1999 toyota with 140 thousand miles? Does it really matter on a used car how many perks it has if the miles are very high. We will buy the car and probably drive it till its ready for the junk yard. People put things in their adds which talk about the Stereo, heated seats and all kinds of crap, but does that matter in the price of a car which has 160 thousand miles on it if the engine and transmission is 160 thousand miles old Help, I am new at this and need to buy a car for my son to get to college. I am surprised at the amount people are asking for cars in the sales adds such as $6000. for a car with 160,000 miles. Isnt that car pretty much getting ready to be in its last leg. I notice they stay in the paper for days because no one buys them.

I am finishing up installation of a new 5.0 L in my 1990 Ford. I was thinking of getting a K&N air filter, but saw Fram advertises their "Airhog" filters as being as good. The Airhog is reuseable and orange like K&N and it only would cost $10 after Fram's $20 rebate (http://info.rockauto.com/Honeywell/FRAMDetail.html?PPA5056_012406.jpg) But if I get a lifetime filter I might as well get the best one right from the start. Anybody recommend Airhog vs. K&N or some other brand for the Ford 5.0?

Ok I need to replace the "a-pipe" on my car because there is a bad internal weld creating one hell of a buzz. I am 100% sure this is the cause of the annoying noise. I'm thinking just replace the whole piece with an aftermarket header because to buy the OEM piece would be much more expensive. The question is...will putting on an aftermarket header create any problems in that I will have maybe a more free flowing header coupled with the stock exhaust? I'm not after performance here, it's just that I want the noise gone and an aftermarket header is much less expensive.

He stopped communication with us, we are "too strict". He lives with his mom, she let him drop out of his Junior year in high school, buys his cigars & cigs, lets him stay the night w/girlfriend, and now we find out he is driving. No permit, no license, tag off another car, no insurance no nothing. If he has an accident, can the Father be held liable for any of the damages. They have joint custody. I don't want to loose my home over the stupid mother letting him do these things
