Do they send a tow truck after you call and pay for towing? Does it take a long time for someone to get there? Has anyone here ever used it? What is it? Should I even have this in my Verizon contract?

Yes, we have used it twice and it was great. I had what turned out to be a dead battery at the airport and they sent a tow truck to jump my car off. My daughter had a starter go out and they sent a tow truck for her car. The first time it took about 35 minutes for the truck to get to me. It took about 20 minutes for my daughter.

first look at your contract . It should pay for the call and some assistance depending on whats wrong on your vehical at the time you call them like a flat tire .
